The options for configuring Slack are not present in the elasticsearch.yml file by default.
Do we have to write them manually OR they are present already ?
Can anyone give a little hint ?

as you need to supply your own tokens and endpoints as part of the slack configuration, you need to specify this yourself. Please check the link that David posted for further information and come back with any questions (including your configuration as well as the concrete watches).
