Cross Cluster Search - port 9300 - need to open flow in bidirectional way

Hi,

i'd like to use Cross Cluster Search between two clusters (ES version: 5.6).
For example i'd like to see data from cluster A to cluster B; I'd like to know if there is the need to open the flow in bidirectional way on port 9300 or if it is enough to open the flow only from cluster A to cluster B.

You really need to upgrade first. As a matter of urgency.

Unfortunatly this is not possible at the moment.

5.X is very much past EOL and you need to upgrade very urgently. 5.0 was released nearly 6 years ago.

Yes, it needs to be bidirectional.
