Custom URL for Elastic Search Service

On elastic search service running on cloud,

when will be possible to have another name for kibana?
My current deployment is:
https://DEPLOYMENT_ID.westeurope.azure.elastic-cloud.com/

will be possible to have a subdomain or change the URL to a human readable name?

We are working on customer-defined URLs at the moment, no ETA yet though

Other options in the meantime:

  • Use nginx or something similar in your own environment
  • Create a DNS "alias" (cname) pointing to the full hostname

we have a F5 Proxy, but of course, it is just a redirect. for the user in the end is always
https://DEPLOYMENT_ID.westeurope.azure.elastic-cloud.com/

it will be a nice feature to get :slight_smile:
