Dashboard background color issue

Greetings!
For version 7.1.1, the background color of the dashboard cannot change to "dark" although the setting is changed as shown below:

Can anyone help on this?

@June I think that is when creating a new dashboard

If you are on version 7.0.0, you can also switch Kibana to dark-theme and just reload your page.

Set theme:darkMode to true. https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/advanced-options.html

I had tried to create a new dashboard after setting dashboard:dark mode but it still cant function. The dashboard only can be in the dark mode when I set the theme:dark mode.

I would like to keep the theme as white theme and only the dashboard is the dark mode. I have tried in version 6.5.1 and it can be done but it cant achieve in version 7.1.1.

Kindly advise on this.
