Disabling sorting an indexed field

Is it possible to disable sorting on indexed fields in Kibana?
I still want ES to index it but I don't want anyone to sort on it, because you know.. outOfMemory error ; )

If it doesn't exist, is it something that's possible to do and should I create an issue for it?

It's not possible, and as far as I know there isn't an issue for it.
