Displaying filters next to log messages in the dashboard

Hi, I am able to show the log messages on the dashboard. However I also want to show the filters next to the messages like shown here (bottom left).
I know I can apply the same filters by expanding the message but this way looks more convenient.
Can I still do it on Kibana 5.5 or was this present only in older version?

When you click on one of the fields, does it filter the logs where that field has a value?

I don't have this view. This is what I found on Internet. I want to get a view like this where I can filter logs without affecting the rest of the visualizations.

Right now all I have is expanding the message and then filtering there but it affects all other visualizations as well. Thanks.

Unfortunately, there isn't really any way to accomplish this. Filters will apply to all of the visualizations, not just the saved search you're looking at on the Dashboard.
