Do i need Ingest Node for Logstash?

Hello,

I have a question about Elasticsearch:

Do i need a dedicated ingest node in Elasticsearch if i am using Logstash to receive and create data to the database, and i have heavy queries?

I have only one machine, and i am running multiple instances of Elasticsearch as a Cluster there...

No.

Unless you have more than 64gb of RAM why are you doing that?

I had some data loss in incoming data when i applied queries in Elasticsearch. This is why i tried to create one node for incoming data and one node for the queries, in order to separate somehow.

So you have a "big" data node and a small coordinating only node?
