Do proxy only runners consume a license?

Hi,

As the title says, does anyone know if a host which is running just the proxy role, counts as an instance that would consume an ECE license?

Hi @crickes,

Yes, each Elastic Cloud Enterprise installation requires a license, regardless of which roles are enabled.
If you want to further discuss ECE licensing it might be good time to contact sales@elastic.co that will be able to help with sizing and a licensing requirements based on your need and planned deployment.
