We have a elasticsearch cloudservice with platinum services and would like to trace user activity and search queries send through the search api and from within Kibana. Is that possible?

Usually this would be done with Packetbeat, but you can't do that with Elastic Cloud as we're hosting it for you.
You should definitely ask the Support team this too, as part of your subscription
