we are going to upgrade the elastic cloud and kibana from 7.0 to 8.0. need your assistance to assist us step by step prerequisites and upgrade assistance.
Upgrade to 7.latest, then use the built-in upgrade assistant and then upgrade to 8. And it doesn't have to be 8.0, it could be 8.latest straight away. But you need to be on X.latest to upgrade to the next major version.
PS: Elastic Cloud will automatically take snapshots for you and make sure your cluster is healthy. Plus perform a lot of the steps that you'd otherwise have to do yourself.
we have 7.17.21 and need to upgrade 8.x then from 8.x to 9.x
