I am doing some research for my department on optimizing our use to data in elastic through a data strategy. I am struggling to find resources specific to elastic, I am finding a lot about data strategy in general. Can someone send me some links, ideas or resources or if anyone tackled a similar problem, how did you approach it?

What sort of data is in your elasticsearch cluster(s)? Logs, customer orders, application traces, search histories, amazon delivery locations ... ?
Why was it put there in the first place?
How long do you need to keep it, and why ?
What (in a business sense) is the most useful thing you can do with Elasticsearch (and the data therein) right now?
What (in a business sense) is the most useful thing you want to do with Elasticsearch (and the data therein), but right cannot do? (due to whatever utilization, reliability and accessibility issues you have right now).
Who would scream loudest if you just shut down your cluster(s), and why?
