Elasticsearch 5.6.16 on Ubuntu 18.04

Can someone let me know if elasticsearch is supported on Ubuntu 18.04? I looked through the 5.6.16 documentation but could not find anything related to Ubuntu 18.

Elasticsearch 5.6.16 is EOL since march 2019. See https://www.elastic.co/support/eol

Also, it is not supported with Ubuntu 18, see https://www.elastic.co/support/matrix
