Ubuntu 24.04 LTS is now released but it is not mentioned in the elastic support matrix

Are elasticsearch and logstash officially supported on Ubuntu 24.04?

Also, does the Support matrix also act as a Compatibility matrix, or are those two separate concepts?

Kibana 8.15.x and Logstash 8.15.x are compatible with Ubuntu 24.04 but Elasticsearch is not officially compatible yet according to the documentation.

Note: Ubuntu 22.04 is supported on 7.17.5 and onwards.

Logstash, Kibana and other Elastic products compatible with Ubuntu 24.04. But Elasticsearch is not announced officially yet.

OK, when will Elasticsearch be officially announced for Ubuntu 24.04 and added to the matrix ?
There are people here who only accept compatibility when it is officially announced and listed in the matrix.

Hi, I want to ask about compatibility. We are oblige to use Ubuntu 24.04 and right now we are stucked without licences due to 24.04 is not present in the matrix
