Elasticsearch-security-plugin for SSL in 1.0+

Hi
I am exploring the options for providing SSL support for inter-node
communication in elasticsearch and I came across the Salyh's plugin:
https://github.com/salyh/elasticsearch-security-plugin.
But in the documentation it is mentioned that "0.90.10 and greater not yet
working" .
Can anyone please confirm if this is working or not in 1.0+ versions.

Thank you

The plugin is not supposed to provide inter-node security. Its "only"
securing the http restlayer.
I am working on 1.0 suppport, currently its not working on 1.0+
