Hi Dear All,
I am new to ElasticSearch... I have installed ElasticSearch 0.90.5 on
Windows 7 64-bit and Eclipse (Kepler). Is there any tutorial or free book
etc that I can use to index pdf documents with Java using Eclipse. Your
help will be highly appreciated...
Thanks in Advance....
what would you like to do? just running elasticsearch and index pdf
documents (so no eclipse is needed) or change and build ea source code
(then you need eclipse and maven)

Hi Hendrik,
Actually I am building a search web application using Java which could
index pdf documents so that one can search for such documents. The task is
to build a web interface that can send command to elasticsearch server for
indexing documents and searching them against some keywords.... Thanks

I guess you should refer to eclipse mailing list or user guide.
This mailing list is not about how to use eclipse with a standard Maven project and git.
That said, have a look at git and m2eclipse plugins for eclipse. It should help you.
Basically, use import Project feature in eclipse.
