Elasticsearch won't start in Windows 10 64bit

Installed Elasticsearch 7.0 in my windows 10 64bit notebook.
While attempting to start service from Windows | Services, this message pops up

" Windows could not start the Elasticsearch 7.0.0 (elasticsearch-service-x64) service on local computer.
Error 1067: The Process terminated unexpectedly. "

As for troubleshooting:

I checked Java version ok
java -version outputs

" java version "12.0.1" 2019-04-16
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 12.0.1+12)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 12.0.1+12, mixed mode, sharing) "
