Does ELK 7.6.2 support reading data directly from Kafka?

Logstash (L in ELK) has a Kafka input that you can use.

Thanks. Would I need to install Kafka plugin? I see the following output:

-bash-4.2$ ./logstash-plugin list|grep kafka

logstash-integration-kafka
 âââ logstash-input-kafka
 âââ logstash-output-kafka

Please note the special characters âââ before logstash-input-kafka
