Embedded Kibana datepicker

When regular Kibana dashboards are shared/embedded the date/time picker is missing but when a Discover dashboards is shared the date/time picker is there. Is there any way to include the date/time picker in shared dashboards(without embedding the whole Kibana with the menu)?
