There will be, but it's the weekend and it's night time in a reasonable fraction of the world, so you may have to be a bit more patient.

Does /var/lib/elasticsearch/elasticsearch exist and is it writeable by the user as which Elasticsearch is running?

How do you install elasticsearch in the first place? Did you read the installation guide? The official, not a blog post on internet...
