ES|QL Query Controls

Hello,

Currently you can build a control through a ES|QL visualization

The above is showing when you do the dynamic, building the control based off es|ql query.

Is there plans to be able to create a control just based of a es|ql query alone? Like I don't want to build it through a visualization, just click create control and the above pops up providing me a way to build a fitlered down control

Hey! I assume what you are looking for is [ES|QL] Adds an ES|QL control option on the dashboard controls dropdown by stratoula · Pull Request #219495 · elastic/kibana · GitHub

This will allow at 8.19 to create an ES|QL control from the dashboards dropdown and then you will be able to reuse them at your ES|QL visualizations
