I used to be able to use the "share' button at the top to export the aggregated data but that option is no longer there.

what tool are you using? In Lens there should be a Download as CSV, while on the old Aggregation based editor the Download button is inside the Inspector panel.
Yes it was an old style aggregation and it was there under inspector
