I have a few doubts regarding the Elastic support so I need some help to answer the following questions.
Is there any official flow to request a new feature or fixes for Elastic Observability products?
How does it works when the feature/fix is for a Logstash plugin?
Is there any ETA for these feature/fix requests?
Please keep in mind that could be very interesting compare the basic (opensource) subscription with other premium subscription if there is a difference beetween them.
There is no ETA that can be given up front for these feature or fix requests. Obviously critical issues will get precedence over other issues and feature requests. Once an issue goes through our triage process it will ultimately get picked up in a release cycle. Our minor versions are released somewhere between 2 and 3 months in between. Major versions are somewhere between 18 and 24 months.
Paying customers get access to more support options including assistance with setting up, troubleshooting and issue fixing.
