_forcemerge increase actual doc count, is any chance to duplicate

I have 2 nodes cluster with default shards(5)

I have deleted/updated document that taking extra size on disk, (Count : 2793806)

when i should use forcemerge API and what should max_num_segments

localhost:9200/myindex/_forcemerge?max_num_segments=1

what actually engine do , its increase some no actual count.

Is there any chance that after merge i will get duplicate doc

It'd be useful if you showed the before and after output from _cat/indices.

I have used force merged API then check i saw some doc count increase, how it is possible?
