Just finished upgrading from 7.2 to 7.4.1 and was cleaning up the 7.2 installations when something caught my eye. In the root of my 7.2 elasticsearch folder, I have a file named data that is about 18GB in size, what is it? My elasticsearch.yml has config.data set to a completely different folder, though I dont think that has anything to do with this file. I've renamed my 7.2 folder then restarted Elasticsearch 7.4 and everything still works fine. Any ideas?
