We are using X-Pack for monitoring our environment. Our environment is a logging pipeline.
We have:
1 loadbalancer
2 shippers (Logstash)
3 indexers (Kafka and Logstash)
3 to n Elasticsearch nodes
In Kibana on the Monitoring tab I get an overview of Logstash servers. Unfortunalty there the shippers and indexer Logstashs are combined. If I would like to see the throughput of only the shippers I would have to get the total number and subtract all indexers.
Is there are feature to group Logstash servers with a chosen name? I would then tag my Logstashs as shippers or indexers and I would get seperate metrics for both groups in Kibana.
