Have been using ES OSS, now require FIPS and x-pack. Do I need to switch and purchase license?

Hi Team,

Pardon me if the question sounds pretty obvious but I wanted to make sure before I proceed -
I have a requirement to enable FIPS for search feature on a existing application (monolithic) that uses ES as single node service. Based on the documentation I have followed so far, looks like it will require X-Pack Libraries. Plus a note on ES website that F-140-2 only works with Platinum subscription.
So for both above reasons do I need to purchase license ?

If you wants FIPS compliance, yes a paid license is required.
