Hello,
I'm using elasticsearch 5.6.0, Kibana 5.6.0 and X-pack plugin.
I would like to know if it is possible (with only one kibana instance) to hide some index patterns depending on the user connected ?
Example : There is 2 users A and B, and 2 index patterns a-mel and b-mel.
I want the user A to see only the index patterns a-mel in the management menu.
Thank you

No. This is not possible because both users have to have read access to .kibana index to see index-patterns.
Of course you can let user A only read data from a-mel index pattern, and user B only read data from b-mel.

Lee
