is it available in only 5.0> version or is it also available in 2.4 version ??
The mechanics that allow you to create a Hot/Warm architecture, e.g. shard allocation filtering, has been available since Elasticsearch 1.x if I recall correctly, so setting this up on Elasticsearch is definitely possible. Some of the newer features that add some additional flexibility to this, e.g. rollover and shrink APIs, were however introduced in Elasticsearch 5.0.
