How can I upgrade Logstash?

Hi,

Currently I am running Logstash 1.5.3, how can I upgrade it to the latest version? Is there any step by step procedure? Btw, I don't use Logstash forwarder.

Did you install it via a repository - apt/yum - or using a tar.gz file?

Ahh.. Sorry, my bad, I didn't mention. I have installed it on Windows Server 2012 R2 box.

Oh, then you will need to download the zip and extract it, then copy your configs over.
