I currently use logstash-1.4.2 and want to upgrade it to the last stable version.
But can't find any information about - How to upgrade logstash.
Show me, please, any information about?
There's really nothing special to it. If you've installed Logstash via a package manager (RPM or APT) just upgrade the package. If you've downloaded the tarball, download a fresh tarball. I'm not sure what you're asking.

I'm not good with terminal
so I enter to my server
then run command $ cd logstash-1.4.2/
what's next? I mean can you write me upgrade command, please

how do you install LS? using repositories? or directly downloading binaries?
