How do i collect logs from IBM SAN controller, SAN Directors, San storage arrays

Continuing the discussion from Collecting Storage metrics and logs into ELK stack:

I need to collect log files from IBM SAN controller, SAN Directors, and San storage arrays and send them to log-stash.

I am at the design stage. looking for ideas.

Any ideas?.

A few questions to get started:

  • How does the IBM SAN controller/... expose logs? Syslog, file, ...?
  • What is the format of the logs?
