How do I implement an alert for packet loss?

I need to implement an alert for packet loss. I have a dashboard in place and the remaining bit is coming up with a rule for checking on packets loss in and out.....

Any leads on how to go about it.

Am using logstash and am on version 8.0.

So I have the dashboard in place through the logs but I want to implement a rule that check if there are packet lost between the source and destination.

Although yesterday I saw that system.network.packet.drop Condition works fine.
