How to calculate Request Rate

Hello everyone,

I am trying to setup monitoring for elasticsearch cluster using an external monitoring tool called Logic Monitor. I am trying to replicate a dashboard similar to Kibana, would like to know how to calculate the request rate populated on Kibana.
Any help is appreciated.
