How to Enable Alerting With Basic License?

According to elastic licensing page alerting is available with basic free license.

We have 6 node cluster (with TLS/security enabled) and we are unable to see any alerting options on cluster monitoring dashboards in Kibana.
Do we need to do something to enable it?

we are using 7.5.0

Kibana alerts are available with the basic licence, but I think it requires version 7.7.
