Is there a way to prevent the index patterns (and possible Dashboards, Searches)

from deletion in Kibana?

I forgot to mention that I use ELK 5.1.1 and do not want to use XPACK.

If there are any other ways to achieve it, please let me know.

You can maybe add the embed=true query parameter to your URL. But this
solution is not safe enough I think.
