I have the same field in two different indexes I want to show a visualisation for a status field I want to split pie chart when a status field value is Open?
Sorry, but i really don't understand your question, could you try to elaborate ?
in general, pie chart does not support querying multiple indexes. That might be possible with time series visual builder introduced in 5.4
I have two dashboard on two different index first dashboard is summary in which I want to show the pichart with the slices having status field value as Open and Closed After clicking on Status=Open slice when I will pin the filter and move to second dashboard It should filter the second dashboard also as status field is present in both index
That should work just as you described (just gave it a test on latest master and it does work as expected)
