I am trying to configure a connector to automatically send emails when an alert is triggered.
For that, I went to the connector section and created my first connector. I configured the connector name, and in the sender field, I chose my email account. Do I need to authorize it to be a sender somewhere? If yes, do I need admin privileges?
I selected Outlook as the service, and it required authentication. What username and password should I use? The documentation is not clear on this matter (so I have tried various options without success).
Then, I tested my connector by choosing myself as the recipient of the email. When I run the test, it says: "An unexpected error occurred" (with no additional details).
Do you have any idea what I might be doing wrong? How could I make this work?
