Impact of RHEL upgrade from 7.9 to 8.9 on ELK stack

Hi All,

I have been tasked with upgrading my OS software from RHEL 7.9 to RHEL 8.9.

Can someone confirm if the ELK stack supports in-place OS upgrade (i.e upgrading to a later version of the OS while the ELK stack is running/working). I'm currently running ELK version 7.17.xx on premises.

If it does not support in-place OS upgrades can you please suggest what approach I can use to fix this with least amount of downtime.
