I have a huge data set on my Elasticsearch Cluster. I am planning to take snapshots on daily , weekly and monthly basis and put it on S3 using S3 plug-in .
I want to understand what will be the impact of the Snapshot and Restore operation on my overall cluster.
Will this operation will slow down my search or indexing or any other operation.
Will this operation will cause any other issue to my cluster in terms of performance and speed.
I would like to understand what all things I should focus on before planning to take snapshots on daily basis, since I have a huge data set.
