Import/Export dashboards in Kibana

In Kibana, if a dashboard is exported using the REST API and imported using UI, the following error occurs

Saved objects file format is invalid and cannot be imported.

The export.json file exported using REST API consists of version information. The version information about the index-patterns is to be removed for successful importing using REST API.
