I'm having some trouble getting Kibana 4 working with a fresh ES 2.0 install. Network is good, I get a clean connection to ES via curl, but Kibana is throwing an index_not_found_exception, I would expect it would try to create the index. elasticsearch_url in kibana.yml is correct (tested with curl). Thoughts?
User error on my part. My Chef cookbook was installing 4.0.0 instead of 4.2.1. Problem solved.
