Install hdfs-repository plugin for ES 2.2.0

Hi,

I am trying to install HDFS plugin for Elasticsearch 2.2.0 in my local machine. I have hadoop 2.7.1 installed. I tried the method suggested here -> elastic discussion thread

Could someone guide me on how do I set it up in my local. Github repo says it has moved to ES proper and I am unable to find the documentation for this plugin for ES version 2.2.

I have updated the master with the previous instructions for 2.x (they were available in the commit history but that wasn't as accessible).
