Installing logstash on MAC OS X

Elastic Stack Logstash

I want to install Logstash, Elastic, Kibana on my Macbook, but most of the documentation on GITHUB and the elastic site seem to revolve around windows. Does anyone know of good documentation for installing on OS X.

Just download the tar.gz or zip, extract and run.

make sure you have java
