Is it possible to display an arbitrary Elasticsearch query result in a datatable?

Hi,

We're hitting roadblocks with Kibana Discover, it doesn't allow sorting on a secondary field or aggregation on text fields.

Is it possible to write a custom elasticsearch query then display it in Kibana somehow?

Hi, this is not currently possible, apart from simply sending the query in Dev Tools and viewing the response. This could be a potential enhancement request.

Thanks for the response! The most urgent requirement is to hide duplicate messages when viewing a screen full of logs. Is there any workaround for this?
