when i use only logstash 8.8 version, that is free?
Or If i want free, must use logstash oss?
Logstash Default / Basic distribution is Free...
There are a few features / plugins that require a license but that is only when connecting to a licensed elasticsearch server if I recall
But in short, the vast majority of features are covered by the Basic/ Free Elastic V2 License.

There is an OSS version of you like, but if you are just doing normal logstash stuff I would suggest using the default distribution.
