This is some sort of google apps group, which is different from
regular google groups
I think I recall on regular google groups that one can elect
(checkbox) to be notified of replies to a message
I try to keep my inbox lean and I use it for sms (via google voice)
and personal stuffs
I have a work email too, but dont want to get bombarded with emails
everytime someone on the next posts here
Maybe it's some sort of admin setting?
Can this group be migrated over too regular google groups?
I think we just migrated our google apps accounts to regular google
accounts and the office

You can try and register on nabble, which mirrors this group. The group will
not be migrated to regular google group (mainly due to spamming).

Nabble appears to have trouble replying to this group through its UI, so watch for that when posting through the web.

As an alternative you could create a filter in gmail that attaches a label
to incoming messages from this list, and archives it. Then messages from the
list won't clutter your inbox. Using the multiple inboxes lab feature you
can create an extra inbox that lists those messages (or only unread items).
That's how I handle lists like this one, and for me it's working pretty
well. No messages from lists in my inbox, but still an easy way to spot you
have new mail from the lists so I can read new messages when I like to.
