Java Client/SDK with App Search

HI,
Is there any java client or SDK present for app search as it is for elastic, something similar to the spring-data-elastic that we have for spring.
Another question is as app search is a wrapper on top of Elasticsearch will the response take more time compared to elastic if we use the open source Elasticsearch directly.

There's no java client for app search project. You need to use the REST API and build it by yourself. You could start from this code may be.
