As you can see in a previous posting we are working on upgrading from
kibana 1 to kibana 3, but are currently blocked on finding the right
approach with regards to role based authentication.
However we have some stability issues with out current setup (kibana 1,
elesticsearch 0.20.5, logstash 1.1.x), so I was wondering if I could just
update the elasticsearch component.
I know I should most like change logstash output from elasticsearch to
elasticsearch-http, but would it otherwise work.
- is kiabana 1 compatible with newer elasticsearch?, if so how new can I go?
- would I need to upgrade logstash, or is it enough to upgrade the output
plugin?
