I've a question about setting up an alert on a missing process on several hosts I'm monitoring.
I've setup a Metric threshold alert with instances on hostnames, which should do the job, but I don't think, this alert will work, if there is no data available for a single server. The Test alert button is telling then that there were zero instances on zero hostnames, which satisfied the condition, so no alert will be sent. Is my assumption correct?
Do I have to create multiple alerts filtering for each host with the "Alert me if there's no data" checkbox checked, to achieve my goal?
