Kibana for non-elasticsearch ReST APIs request

Hi Folks,

I've been using Kibana to search Elasticsearch indices from sometime. I was wondering if i can create custom dashboards which can make Rest calls to non-elasticsearch sources ? and map the output json

Kibana only supports Elasticsearch as a backend for the moment. Sorry!
